Llewellyn A. Searing is an attorney at MP2 Placidi & Parini, where she helps individuals and families navigate the complexities of immigration law with compassion and care. Her practice includes family-based petitions, naturalizations, asylum applications, and criminal-immigration consultations.
A graduate of Penn State Dickinson Law, Llewellyn discovered her passion for immigration law while working with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. During law school, she gained hands-on experience through IOLTA Fellowships with the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center and the Community Justice Project, where she focused on removal defense and language access within Pennsylvania courts. Further, before joining MP2 Placidi & Parini, Llewellyn trained for almost a year as an Immigration Specialist at the local Multicultural Community Resource Center.
Before entering law school, Llewellyn graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine with dual bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and International Affairs. She also spent a year studying at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, where she volunteered teaching English to Syrian refugees.
Llewellyn believes that every client’s story is unique and deserves to be heard. She strives to make each client feel understood and supported throughout their legal journey, taking time to explain each step of the process and ensure their voices are central to every decision. Her approach blends professionalism with personal care, recognizing that immigration issues often touch the most meaningful parts of people’s lives: family, opportunity, and belonging.
Outside the office, Llewellyn enjoys playing the cello, spending time on Lake Erie, and attending local baseball games with her fiancé and their two dogs.
